A REALLY fun recital....

Haha..... I just failed at my recital yesterday.... sigh. It was really depressing... Luckily my parents weren't there to see x] huh... still. so this is what happened

Walk in.... hmm, put down my violin, get everything ready. Walk into stage/ room, listen to all the other ppl. The other Eric was there, and so were my brother and sister (who also play violin). My brother goes first, and he did pretty good. Not too many mistakes, gets through the whole 4-page song reasonably well. Everyone else does pretty good. I go fifth... and I TOTALLY screw up! T.T Totally. I got stoppped 5 times during the whole song, had to replay almost everything twice, and then the teacher said: "ummmm, that was ok" I didn't have enough vibrato, I didn't have good shifts (I messed up shifting from first to THIRD postion T.T). My SISTER outplayed me. Well, then again, my sister outplays me most of the time anyway XD. Smart little person.... she's mean, but a really good violinist and smart.... life is unfair x]. Hmph, this is the only subject I'm not too good at. Ochestra: Not significant in the grand scheme of things.... x], and in BYSO debut (the class for like 10 yr. olds, I was the exception), I got shelved to 2nd Violin T.T I'm getting beaten by ten-year-olds in Ochestra.... XDDDDD Like others (aka Alex, Anita, Katie, Mina (I think that's how to spell it) Venny, Eileen, even FRANKLIN) play better than me and totally beat me at violin. Sighz... oh well, that's life! Maybe I'll get shelved to Fifth Violin next time! xDD New Record!!!
