OMFG!!!!! I think I needed to be demoted to triangle... I'm not even worthy of a stupid oboe (no offence to oboe players).... I really really screwed up this time. Stupid thanksgiving performance.... That was probably the worst I've ever played, in front of everybody... My parents are stiilll lecturing me about it! D< So this is what happened:
Intro: Uh... I'm gonna play Concierto in G minor (Suzuki book four, SONG FOUR crap I can't believe I messed up on that easy song....)
Plays first page.... arm is shaking wildly, hypervenhilating....
Second page: LITERALLy stops and kneels down, unable to stand anymore.... T.T
Third Page: Final note: A on E string, First Position... I messed up on it.... T^T
In your opinion should I like just quit violin?? I mean, that was failure number 2 where I "embarrassed my family, my honor... and other stuff" (Parents).
I hate myself.... I had a good violin, the easiest music since twinkle... and I breakdown, pause for a minute, get a drink of water, and then play again... I'm a failure.... I can't even play first position right, what hope do I have of even bothering continuing?

Noes, messing up doesn't mean you're a bad violinist, and it doesn't mean you're a bad PERSON, either! So don't hate yourself. x.x *patpat* Parents shouldn't lecture so much. And everyone gets over embarrasment eventually. Even if it takes a reallyreallyreally long time. =D
